Faculty Recruitment: Two Full-Time Positions (Assistant Professor and above)

The Graduate Institute of Architecture at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University is seeking to recruit two full-time faculty members. Our institute emphasizes both theory and practice, design and research, and is committed to innovative teaching and international exchange. Position Rank/Number of Openings:
- One full-time Assistant Professor
- One full-time Professor
Qualifications and Expertise:
1. A doctoral degree from a domestic or international university recognized by the Ministry of Education, or a master’s degree with more than four years of outstanding professional experience.
2. Areas of specialization:
  - Field 1: Architecture and urban design, architectural practice, architectural history and theory, design research
  - Field 2: Interdisciplinary design research, digital design and fabrication, application of emerging technologies, computational design
3. Applicants with experience in design teaching and industry practice are preferred.
4. Ability to teach in both Chinese and English, and lead design studios, international collaborations, or project-based activities.
Appointment Start Date:

Expected to begin on August 1, 2026 (subject to the completion of the recruitment process)
